For drivers and couriers

What you need

If you deliver on foot or by bicycle you are never asked for a driving licence. You are asked for what the work actually needs.

Everybody

  • National ID (Fayda)
  • A photo of your face
  • An emergency contact
  • Where to pay you

If you drive or ride

  • Driving licence
  • Vehicle registration
  • Insurance

If you carry passengers

  • Vehicle inspection
  • Transport authorisation

If the vehicle is not yours

  • Written consent from the owner

How you apply

  1. Say what you want to do

Carry passengers, deliver by motorbike or bajaj, or deliver by bicycle or on foot. What we ask for follows from that answer, which is why it is the first question rather than the last.

  2. Send the documents

Photographs are fine as long as the writing is readable, and you can send them as you get them rather than all at once.

  3. We check them

If something is missing or unreadable we say which one and why, and the application waits for you rather than sitting in silence.

  4. You start

Once you are approved the app starts offering you work, and every offer shows what it pays before you accept it.

What happens to a document

Sent

It has arrived and has not been looked at yet. You can carry on sending the others.

Being checked

Somebody, or something, is reading it. Usually a few working days.

Verified

Accepted. If it has an expiry date we remember it, so you do not have to.

Sent back

Unreadable, or the wrong thing. We tell you which and you send it again — it is not the end of the application.

Expired

It was valid and is not now. It stops the work that needed it, and only that work.

How long it takes

With complete, readable documents, a few working days. There is nothing to pay to join, and nobody will ask you for money to be approved faster — if somebody does, it is not us.

About your documents

You do not have to send everything at once. Your application is saved, so when the insurance photo turns up tomorrow you carry on where you left off.

We tell you before a document expires rather than after. And if one does lapse, it stops only the work that needed it, not all of it. If your insurance runs out you stop taking passengers, and you carry on delivering food.
