Get where you are going

Book a car in seconds and see the fare before you get in. Pay the driver in cash, or from your DERSA Pay balance.

See a real price now

These come from DERSA's pricing engine — the same one the app books against, not a table copied onto a web page.

Four kinds of journey

Across town

Priced by distance and time, quoted before you book.

Airport

A flat fare per vehicle class, so a four in the morning arrival is not a negotiation.

By the hour

A car and a driver for two to twelve hours, with kilometres included.

Between cities

Adama, Hawassa, Bahir Dar. The rate covers the driver's empty road home, which is why it is not the town rate.

What you ride in

Economy

Four seats. The usual choice.

Comfort

Newer cars, more room.

XL

Six seats, or luggage.

Bajaj

Cheapest, where bajajs are allowed.

A class that cannot do a journey is not offered for it. No bajaj to Bahir Dar: nobody takes a three-wheeler 560 km.

Blue and white taxis lined up on a street in Addis Ababa

Before you get in

Your driver asks for a short code, and the code is in your app. That is how you know it is the right car. If they do not ask for it, you do not have to get in.

Calls go through DERSA, so neither of you ever sees the other's number.

How safety works

What you get

The fare, before you ride

You agree the price when you book. No meter, and no negotiating at the kerb at four in the morning.

A code at the kerb

Your driver asks for a four-digit code before the trip starts, so nobody gets into the wrong car.

Choose your car

Economy for every day, Comfort when it matters, and XL when there are six of you.
