From an order to the money
What happens when an order arrives, and when the money reaches you.
One order
The customer pays
The order reaches you only once the money is secured. You never cook something that was never paid for.
You accept
You say how long it will take. That number decides when a courier is sent.
A courier arrives
Close to when the food is ready, not the moment the order came in.
It is delivered
The recipient reads out a code. Who took it is recorded.
The sale becomes yours
At that moment it is recorded as owed to you. Payment follows on your settlement cycle.
About being paid
Earning and being paid are not the same thing, and DERSA shows them separately. A sale is yours the moment it completes; the money arrives on the cycle we agree. Collapsing the two into one number is easier to display and makes it impossible to answer what you are actually owed.
When there is a discount
Who funds a discount is recorded. A campaign DERSA is paying for does not come out of your takings, and one you chose to fund is plainly yours.
